Nikujaga

Ingredients

[Serves 4]

• Potatoes: 4
• Thinly sliced pork belly: ½ lbs (or beef)
• 1 onion
• Carrot: 1-2 carrot 
20 oz of Dashi made from 2 Dashi Packs
• Cooking Sake: 3 tablespoons
• Soy Sauce: 5 tablespoons
• Sugar: 4 tablespoons

Peel and cut potatoes, carrots, and onions into bite-sized pieces. Cut pork belly into bite-sized pieces as well.

Add ingredients, dashi, and seasonings to a pot, cover with a lid, and simmer over high heat for about 15 minutes until all liquid is absorbed.
The potatoes should be cooked to the point where a skewer can be easily inserted into the potatoes.

Serve in a bowl. Enjoy
