Takikomi Gohan(Umami Dashi Rice)


[Serves 2]

• 300 grams Uncooked Japanese Rice
• 300 grams Water
• 30 grams Light Soy Sauce
• 30 grams Mirin
• 2 bags Dashi Packs (Any)
• 1 slice Salmon Fillet
• Small amount for garnish Sesame seeds


Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes in the pot of your rice cooker.


After soaking, add soy sauce and mirin to the water and mix lightly.


Place the dashi packs and the salmon fillet on top of the rice, then start cooking the rice.


Once the rice is cooked, remove the dashi packs and bones from the salmon, and mix the salmon into the rice.


Serve in individual bowls and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
