Dashi Chazuke


[Serves 2]

Dashi Ingredients
• 250 grams Water
• 1 bag Dashi Pack (Any)
• 10 grams Light Soy Sauce
• Salt to taste
Chazuke Ingredients
• 150 grams Cooked Rice
• 5 grams Aosa Seaweed
Optional toppings
• Umeboshi (Pickled Plum)
• Salmon
• Mentaiko (Spicy Cod Roe)
• Shio-kombu (Salted Kelp)
• or other preferred ingredients


In a pot, combine dashi ingredients except salt and place it on the heat. Once it boils, simmer on low heat for 7 minutes, then squeeze and remove the dashi packs.


Salt to taste


In a bowl, place the cooked rice and top it with aosa seaweed and your favorite toppings.


Pour the hot dashi over the rice.
