We recommend storing the dashi packs in the freezer, but they can also be stored at room temperature.

1. Put water and dashi packet in a pot and heat.
2. Bring to a boil, simmer over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes, then turn off the heat and remove the dashi packet.

*Please make sure to use soft water instead of hard water.

Basic dashi: 1 dashi packet in 300ml of water.
Rich dashi: 2 dashi packets in 500ml of water.
